Professional Dog Training Support—Right From Home
Dog training doesn’t always require having a trainer standing beside you.
Wolf Pack Dog Training offers private, one-on-one Zoom Dog Training for dog owners who want professional guidance from the comfort of home.
During your private 45-minute virtual training session, Becky will discuss your concerns, observe you and your dog when appropriate, coach you through positive reinforcement training techniques, and help you develop practical strategies you can continue using after your session.
Sometimes Zoom is simply more convenient. Other times, we may recommend virtual training because it gives us a better opportunity to see what’s really happening in your dog’s everyday environment.

How Does Zoom Dog Training Work?
Zoom Dog Training is still hands-on training—you'll just be the hands.
Your private session takes place through Zoom using your phone, tablet, or computer. You’ll work directly with Becky while remaining in your dog’s normal environment.
Depending on what you're working on, Becky may:
- – Discuss the behaviors or training challenges you’re experiencing
- – Ask questions about your dog’s routine, history, and environment
- – Observe your dog in their normal surroundings
- – Watch you practice specific skills with your dog
- – Coach you on timing, rewards, handling, and body language
- – Explain positive reinforcement training techniques
- – Help you make practical changes to routines or the environment
- – Troubleshoot behaviors as they’re happening
- – Answer questions and develop practical next steps
The goal is for you to leave your session understanding what to do, why you're doing it, and how to continue practicing with your dog afterward.
Why Would We Recommend Zoom Training?
Sometimes adding another person to the environment changes everything.
When a trainer enters the home, some dogs become excited, distracted, nervous, guarded, or focused entirely on the new person. Other dogs suddenly stop displaying the behavior their owner has been trying to explain.
Virtual dog training allows Becky to coach and observe without physically changing your dog’s environment.

Your Dog Behaves Differently Around Visitors
If your dog’s behavior changes when someone unfamiliar enters the home, Zoom can give Becky an opportunity to observe your normal routine without becoming another distraction in the room.
Your Dog Is More Comfortable at Home
Dogs who are nervous, fearful, easily overstimulated, or uncomfortable around unfamiliar people may benefit from beginning training without another person physically entering their space.
You Need Help With Everyday Behaviors
Many common training challenges happen during normal everyday life. Zoom gives us an opportunity to talk through those situations and teach you how to respond when they happen.

You Need Continued Training Support
Already worked with Wolf Pack Dog Training? A virtual session can be an easy way to troubleshoot a new challenge, review your progress, ask questions, or get additional coaching.
Location Isn't a Barrier
Because training happens virtually, you do not need to live within Wolf Pack Dog Training’s in-person service area.
As long as you have a reliable internet connection and a phone, tablet, or computer with a camera, you can work with Becky from wherever you are.
You Want to Build Your Own Training Skills
Zoom training puts you directly into the training process. Instead of watching Becky work with your dog, you’ll practice the techniques yourself while receiving real-time coaching and feedback. This helps you build confidence, improve your timing, and better understand how to continue training your dog between sessions.

What Can We Work on Through Zoom?
You may be surprised by how much dog training can be accomplished virtually.
Depending on your dog’s individual needs, Zoom Dog Training may be helpful for:
The goal isn’t for your dog to listen only when the trainer is around.
The goal is to help you and your dog succeed together.
- – Basic manners and obedience
- – Puppy training
- – Barking
- – Jumping
- – Door manners
- – Crate training
- – Household routines and boundaries
- – Focus and engagement
- – Positive reinforcement techniques
- – Introducing or improving training cues
- – Leash-training education
- – Enrichment and mental stimulation
- – Handler skills and timing
- – Preparing for changes or new situations
- – Troubleshooting training challenges
- – Continued support following previous training
Not every behavior or situation is appropriate for virtual training. If Becky believes you and your dog would benefit more from an in-person service or another type of support, she’ll discuss those options with you.
Can Virtual Dog Training Really Work?
Yes—because an important part of dog training is teaching you how to work with your dog.
A trainer may work with your dog for an hour, but you’re the person who’s there tomorrow morning, at dinner, when someone knocks on the door, during the next walk, and throughout your dog’s everyday life.
Virtual training puts you directly into the training process.
Instead of simply watching someone else work with your dog, you’ll learn how to recognize behavior, communicate more clearly, use rewards effectively, practice skills, and respond consistently.
The goal isn’t for your dog to behave only when the trainer is present. The goal is to help you and your dog learn how to work together.
Not sure whether you’re within our service area? Complete our New Client Form and include your location—we’ll confirm availability and any applicable travel fee before scheduling.
What Do I Need for My Zoom Training Session?
You don’t need a complicated setup.
Before your appointment, we recommend having:
- – A phone, tablet, or computer with a camera
- – A reliable internet connection
- – Your dog available when requested
- – Your dog’s favorite treats or rewards
- – Your normal leash, harness, toys, or training equipment
- – Enough space to practice when applicable
- – A place to position your device so Becky can see you and your dog
- – A list of questions or concerns you’d like to discuss
Is Zoom Training Right for Every Dog?
Virtual training can be incredibly useful, but every dog and situation is different.
Some behaviors can be addressed effectively through owner education and virtual coaching, while others may require an in-person assessment or a different training environment.
Dogs with significant aggression, a bite history, severe reactivity, or other safety concerns may require additional evaluation before determining the appropriate training approach.
If Zoom isn’t the best option for your situation, we’ll help you understand what type of training may be more appropriate.
Tell us about your dog, your training goals, and what you’d like help with. We’ll review your information and help determine the appropriate next step.

No. Some sessions may involve Becky observing you and your dog, while others focus more on education, troubleshooting, routines, or answering questions. Your session will depend on what you and your dog need.
Yes. Many training skills can be taught by coaching the dog’s handler. Since you’re the person working with your dog every day, learning how to correctly use the training techniques yourself is an important part of creating lasting progress.
Zoom may sometimes be useful for discussing behavior, gathering information, teaching management strategies, or beginning education without introducing another person into the dog’s environment.
However, aggression, bite histories, severe reactivity, and other significant safety concerns need to be considered individually. Becky will help determine whether virtual training is appropriate or whether another training option should be considered.
If Becky determines that your situation would be better addressed through another training service, she’ll discuss those options with you. Our goal is to choose a training approach that makes sense for both you and your dog.
