walk & trains
Professional leash training—right from your front door.
Wolf Pack’s Walk & Train service combines exercise with focused, one-on-one dog training. Becky comes to your home, picks up your dog, and takes them on a 30-minute training walk through your neighborhood.
During each walk, Becky works individually with your dog on leash skills, manners, engagement, distractions, and other real-world behaviors based on your dog’s needs.
For the first several walks, it’s just Becky and your dog. This gives Becky the opportunity to establish consistency, build communication, and focus completely on your dog’s training.
As your package progresses, you’ll have opportunities to join Becky for one or two walks so you can observe what’s working, learn the techniques she’s using, and practice carrying those skills into your own walks.
Whether you’re starting with a new puppy, working on household manners, struggling with leash skills, or trying to better understand your dog’s behavior, we’ll build training around your dog, your family, your environment, and your goals.
Walk & Train Packages start at $225
All new clients must complete our New Client Form before scheduling training services.
This Isnt Just a Dog Walk
A traditional dog walk primarily provides exercise. Walk & Train provides exercise while actively working on your dog’s leash skills and behavior in the environment where you actually walk them.
Becky can work on skills such as:
Loose-Leash Walking
Engagement & Attention
Leash Manners
Helping your dog learn to walk without constantly pulling or creating tension on the leash.
Teaching your dog to check in and stay connected with their handler while navigating the world around them.
Working on calmer, more manageable behavior before and during walks.
Real-World Distractions
Impulse Control
Confidence
Practicing around the everyday sights, sounds, smells, people, dogs, vehicles, and other distractions encountered during neighborhood walks.
Helping your dog practice making better choices when something exciting catches their attention.
Giving dogs positive opportunities to experience their surroundings while building confidence at an appropriate pace.

We Come To You
Becky comes to your home at your scheduled time, picks up your dog, and begins the training walk directly from your home.
There’s no need to transport your dog to a training facility.
Becky Trains One-on-One
For approximately 30 minutes, your dog receives Becky’s individual attention while working on leash manners, engagement, distractions, confidence, and other skills appropriate for your dog’s training goals.
During the beginning of your package, Becky typically walks with your dog without you accompanying them, allowing her to focus completely on establishing skills and consistency.
You Get an Update
After every Walk & Train session, Becky returns your dog home and gives you an update on how the walk went, what she worked on, your dog’s progress, and anything she wants you to continue practicing.
You’re never left wondering, “Okay…but what did they actually do?”
Why does Becky walk alone with my dog first?
First, we build the skill. Then, we transfer it to you.
The first several walks give Becky an opportunity to work directly with your dog without adding another variable to the training environment.
This allows her to establish communication, determine what motivates your dog, identify patterns during walks, and consistently practice the skills your dog needs.
But the goal isn’t for your dog to walk beautifully only for Becky.
That’s why owners can join toward the end of the package. Becky can show you what your dog has learned and help you understand how to continue reinforcing those same skills during your everyday walks.
We train the dog—and then help transfer those skills back to you.
The goal isn’t for your dog to listen only when the trainer is around.
The goal is to help you and your dog succeed together.
A $30 travel/service fee applies to qualifying Walk & Train appointments based on travel distance from Becky’s location.
When multiple qualifying services are booked together:
First service: 100% of the applicable travel fee
Each additional service: 50% of the applicable travel fee
For example, if the standard travel fee is $30:
First service — $30
Second service — $15
Yes. After each session, Becky returns your dog home and provides an update about what she worked on, how your dog responded, progress she’s seeing, and anything she’d like you to continue practicing.
Put Becky’s actual policy here. This could be a significant selling point if established clients can arrange access without being home—but we shouldn’t assume that.
Again, use Becky’s actual policy. If she requires specific leashes/harnesses or prohibits retractable leashes during training, this is where I’d say it.
Because Walk & Train takes place outdoors, sessions may be rescheduled due to severe or unsafe weather conditions. If Becky determines that the weather is not appropriate for a safe and productive training walk, we’ll contact you to reschedule your session for another available date.

Why Frequency Matters
Consistency creates opportunities to practice.
Walk & Train isn’t designed as an occasional dog-walking service. The packages provide repeated opportunities for Becky to practice the same skills with your dog in real-world situations.
Higher-frequency packages allow for more consistent training throughout the week and more opportunities to reinforce the behaviors your dog is learning.
That’s why our larger packages also reduce the cost per walk.
Tell us about your dog, your training goals, and what you’d like help with. We’ll review your information and help determine the appropriate next step.
